Influence of geometric characteristics of monitor and wind shield on natural ventilation effect of a workshop

Simulates and analyses the influence in a south-oriented workshop using rectangular monitor for ventilation by means of CFD software. The results indicate that when the width-height ratio of the monitor is 1.8, it has the biggest natural ventilation rate, and that the ventilation rate increases slowly with the increase of the height of the wind shield and logarithmically with the increase of the distance between the wind shield and the monitor.
